International Meeting
"Physical Interpretations
of Relativity Theory" - 2025

XXIV International Meeting
"Physical Interpretations of Relativity Theory"
Monday July 7th– Thursday July 10th 2025

Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the Conference Organizing Committee PIRT-2025 we would like to formally invite you to participate at the Physical Interpretations of Relativity Theory conference this year in the Bauman University, Moscow during the period July 7th to 10th, 2025.

The meeting of the PIRT-2025 conference will be held in the Conference Hall, which will allow you to make a presentation both remotely (in Zoom) and in person. The working language of the conference is English.

The PIRT conference is an international scientific event that was organized by the Faculty of Physics of the University of Liverpool and the University of Sunderland in 1988 and was first held at Imperial College London every two years, and since 2003 it has been held at Bauman University in Moscow. The main objectives of the conference are to discuss the physical, geometric, and mathematical interpretation of the theory of relativity, its experimental verification and discussion of alternative theories of gravity, optical methods for detecting gravitational waves, new effects of moving-media optics and relativistic electrodynamics, as well as astrophysical observations and space experiments. More than 180 scientists from 27 countries took part in the previous PIRT-2023 conference, which was held at a high international scientific level.

The Conference Program of the PIRT-2025
will include papers dealing with the following major themes:

  • Gravitation, cosmology and large-scale structure
  • Gravitational waves and experimental tests of the relativity theory
  • Relativistic electrodynamics
  • High energy astrophysics
  • Modern problems of classical and quantum field theory

International School on Gravity, Cosmology and Astrophysics (ISGCA-2025)

The school is conducted by the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences, Bauman Moscow State Technical University with the support of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Gravitational Society.

This summer school on gravity is held at Bauman Moscow State Technical University for the fifth time. The first school was held in 2019 with the participation of Russian and foreign lecturers and listeners.

One of the main goals of the school is to attract talented Russian young students to research in the field of fundamental physics, introducing them to the main problems, ideas, and methods of studying the modern gravity theory and cosmology.
The program is designed for enthusiastic senior students majoring in theoretical physics. The participants are supposed to have basic knowledge of physics. The working language of the school is Russian. For the school participants there will be coffee breaks.
All participants of the school will receive an international participation certificate. The School will welcome both in-person (Bauman University, Moscow) and virtual (via Zoom) participants.

Venue:
Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Russia (face-to-face and virtual participation).
